My approach to therapy is attachment-focused, trauma-trained and relational. I work with individuals 18+ who want to learn more about themselves and create a life that feels in line with who they are and what they want. Many of my clients are undergoing life transitions of all kinds, feeling stuck in patterns, and seeking deeper understanding and lasting change.
I believe in therapy as a collaborative process and will incorporate different styles and tools based on what you’re experiencing and what feels like a fit. In general, my framework is psychodynamic (drawing on the past to understand the present) and focuses on increasing insight and self-understanding, as well as resourcing in the moment.
I draw from my training and education in both biology and counseling to highlight the mind-body connection. This can be beneficial in working with somatic/bodily effects of trauma, physical symptoms and illnesses, STIs, and many of our other layered experiences that come with having bodies. My practice is sex-positive, fat-positive, and LGBTQIA+ affirming.
I offer in-person and virtual appointments. My office is located in Clayton and I provide telehealth appointments for clients throughout Missouri.
